وكعادة تامينو وأغانيه التي تعتبر مناجاة داخلية 

يتحدث عن تجربه روحيه قد خاضها بطل أغنيته.. ربما قد يكون هو نفسه

الذي وبخضم حروبه النفسية التي يخوضها ومعتركاته الداخلية يأتين فتيات ويشعلن نورا في ظلمة حياته

شخصيا أراهن حوريات الالهام ويبدو ان الفكرة لم تراودني وحدني لان الفنانه إبيك رسمتها كما تخيلت 

حتى لو لم تفسر الامر بأنهن حوريات الإلهام

Imagine, the girls around town assemble

The traveler's son they come askin'

Washing his face near the pond

A curious boy and they wonder

تخيل...

اجتمعت فتيات البلدة

وقصدن عابر السبيل

(يسألنه؛ (من أين حللت؟

إذ رأينه من قبل

 يغسل وجهه عند الغدير

ما أغربه من فتى

فتساءلن؛ من أينما قدم؟

He says, "I, I have seen the world's most beautiful places

Still I feel, as If I'm a walking machine

Watching it all through a screen

There is nothing in between to me

This might as well not be real"

أجاب؛ (لقد جبت أبهى بقاع الدنيا

لكن ما زلت أشعر بالخواء والفراغ

وكأنني آلة تسير

 أراقبها عبر شاشة ما

ولا يصلني شيء بما أراه

حتى ما يدور هنا.. يبدو لي وهمًا)

Imagine, the girls take him up on a hill

It's an Indigo night, there's a chill

The boy is confused but he's still

As they gather around him

So many of them, they all sing

About the pleasures of life

تخيل.. أخذته الفتيات إلى التل

في ليلة نيلية باردة

حار الفتى، وسكن

وهن يطفن به

أفواج

يتغنين بزينة الحياة ومباهجها

And he cries, "Why can't I sing along with some feeling, or some meaning?

It feels like I've always been blind

I don't know why you girls are so kind

For there are so many in line

Whose lives aren't as lost as mine"

فصاح؛

لمَ لا أغني معكن.. بشعور.. أو بمعنى؟

كما لو كنت أعمى

ولا أدري لمَ ترفقن الفتيات بي

فثمة الكثير غيري

لم تضل بهم سبل الحياة كما ضلت بي!ا

Now something happened there

The smell of the grass, or maybe the air

There was no more despair

Just something about that night

Maybe the girls, they lit some light

And made everything right

'Cause he's never been

More alive

ثم حدث حادث هناك

لعله عبير العشب

أو عليل النسيم

فتلاشى اليأس من صدره

سرّ في طيات تلك الليلة

لعل الفتيات، أوقدن في داخله نورا

وحسن كل شيء

لأنه شعر ولأول مره بالحياة

...
